Cottonwood Arts Festival

Twice yearly, Richardson TX hosts the Cottonwood Arts Festival, rain or shine. The festival is Located in a park with a stream, birds, and a waterfall. The festival has a childrens creation and imagination area area. Pets are welcome including dogs, cats. and birds. Painters, sculptors and jewelry makers, and other artisans gather at  the festival spans for 2 days every May and October.

You can find, buy, and sell paintings sculpture, leather, jewelry, photographs, and all kinds other art at Cottonwood. My wife and I have been regular visitors since it is so close to home and we always have a great time. A booth for artists costs about $450 as of this season. Applications closed as of July. Music and Food at Cottonwood Arts Festival

One of the best things about the festival, the great music. There’s multiple stages. Sit down and have a snack or a brew and listen to some excellent musicians play all different kinds of music. Spiral cut fries, gyros, funnel cakes, and all other kinds of delicious treats are found throughout the venue.
